Topic: Golf Classifieds / Callaway X-Tour 58° Mack Daddy - $100/ TM R500 Staff bag $150/ Odyssey DFX 1100 $50 Items 1 and 2 will only be available here for a short time. If no sale is made within the next couple of days, they will go to eBay . I want them sold so I can make some more purchases before I go away on the 14th. 1. Callaway X-Tour 58° MD chrome wedge. 9/10. This is the Phil Mickelson version with fancy sole grind and extra-groovy grooves. I have had it in the bag for a little while (bought in July '06) but it only gets used a few times a round at most. It shows very little wear other than on the face, and the grooves are still nice & sharp. Asking $100 plus freight but will consider all reasonable offers. 2. Taylormade R500 10.5" staff bag. 8/10. Approximately 2 years old. This bag was bought new from Golfworks in Brisbane for over $400 . Excellent build quality, lots of pocket space, for the Ho's it has room for more than 14 clubs. Asking $150 plus freight but will consider all reasonable offers. 3. Odyssey DFX 1100 putter with red White Steel grip (original headcover included). 7/10. This mallet putter is in perfect working order. The main reason for the 7/10 rating is the condition of the paint. The dark finish on the sole has mostly worn away and there are paint chips on the back from bag chatter. Asking $50 plus freight but will consider all reasonable offers.
In anticipation of the usual line of questions, the bag and
putter have already been replaced, there are no pop-up marks, and
they are all standard retail models (not TOUR). Pics are here. |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Who's using CFT Hybrid? Hey Mau , try a Maxfli Ezy-Drive. For $99 you can't go wrong. I have a 19° No. 3 (I think the lofts are a little different) with steel shaft and have found it to be just as good as the TM Rescue Mid, for almost a quarter of the price! |

Topic: Golf Classifieds / Maxfli Revolution 2-iron. Calling for interest in a Maxfli Revolution Midsize 2-iron with Precision Superlite Stiff Steel Shaft (unsure of the length but I can measure it if needs be) and a standard Maxfli rubber grip. This club is less than 12 months old and in good condition. I haven't worked out how much I want for it so all reasonable offers will be considered. Anyone who is interested, either reply post or PM me. I can put photos up if requested. |

Topic: Golf Talk / Best shot u have ever done? My best shot would have to have been this: I blocked a 4 iron approach to the par 5 6th, which finished in the greenside bunker. The unusual feature of this bunker is the tree right in the middle of it. I, of course, was on the wrong side of the tree, which was directly in my line to the hole. There was a fork in the trunk about 2 ft above the ground, so I opened the face a little and shot it straight through the gap. It flew to 2 ft from the pin, checked up and finished an inch away from the cup. Tap in for birdie! |

You're just not dedicated enough! I haven't missed a tee time all year! (although there's been a few rounds I haven't finished because my ball is being swept down the fairway by a stream that wasn't there earlier ) |

Topic: Golf Talk / How did you all play this weekend? I start pennant season on Monday week... I'm excited - this is my first ever pennants... :D Congrats on making the Pennants team, golfgirl
. As I've said before, pennants is a good opportunity to
learn about the mental side of the game. You don't have to be
playing your best golf, but if you can hold it together
psychologically, and put all the pressure on your opponent, more
often than not, you will come out on top. |
