I have used a diary as a record during a tax audit and it was accepted.

Well, I think it’s just rub of the green, normally missing the cut hurts your score big time. In fact i’ve had people question the double score rule.

What if only one player on the weekend crashes and burns…. does every player that missed the cut have to finish behind him?

Reverse every natural instinct you have and do just the opposite of what you are inclined to do and you will probably come very close to having a perfect golf swing. – BEN HOGAN, POWER GOLF

I see your point, but if a player misses the cut on the tour, they are done.

As we drop our worst score, I think it is fairer that all entrants with three players active, finish in front of all players with two players active, and all players with two active finishes ahead of all with one active.

This would also get around the issue of doubling scores for those that miss the cut as the doubled scores would now be redundant.

Gotta love this tipping, my 4 guys played a combined 10 rounds of golf for the tournament and i’ve just missed out on the podium.
3 MC’s and the winner, love it when a plan comes together.

Well, I did make the observation on Saturday that missing the cut might be a good thing in this tournament…

Only 15 players in red numbers overall, and the cut went out to +3… with bad weather forecast for the weekend it may end up being a blessing for ISG squads to have someone post a +4 (doubled to +8) while the rest of the field put up big numbers

And I think that is something that needs to be looked at in the rules. Something like any players score that is posted as a missed cut score (doubled), shouldn’t be able to finish in front of a player that plays 4 rounds, even if they do capitulate into C grade territory.

For example, a player that has 4 players make the cut, should finish in front of a player that has 2 players miss the cut, even if the combined score of the 4 players is higher after disastrous rounds on the weekend.

I was selecting Forum from the top bar, then hitting the new posts button which displays each individual post.

If I click the Latest Posts link from next to the forums drop down menu, it does what I want!

Upon initial look, it wasn’t showing me what i wanted, which was a list of active topics. The list of individual replies just looked too daunting (perhaps i’m lazy) to trawl through.

I never got to the point where i could “mark as read”. If I can mark everything as read, it will probably be ok. i’ll go and experiment and see if it works for me.
