40pts with no wipes, 89 off the stick quite happy as I haven’t played under handicap since late August.

Putter worked well, chipping was poor.

34C, 80% humidity front 9 was energy sapping from the sauna like conditions.

A tale of 2 contrasting 9s single stableford, scored 20 points on the front 9, only 12pts back 9 with 2 wipes.

3 putted on 2 consecutive holes in good position to score points, then had meltdowns and wiped holes. Stood on the 18th tee with only 9 points, got par and 3 points to bring me back this week.

Sorry haven’t been able to gloat about a Reds win over ManU in the league since 2004.

Tough going down a goal in the 3rd minute, ManU has the run of play and possession for most of the 1st half, then the own goal.

Beginning of the 2nd half was all Liverpool, good debut for Riera, Kuyt, Benayoun & Mascherano played well. Babel will be a star for the Reds, he is growing with each game he plays.

Wierd seeing Rooney wide on the right of the pitch. How is Sir Alex going to fit everyone on the pitch when Ronaldo is fit? Berbatov, Rooney, Ronaldo, Giggs, Tevez.

Liverpool host ManU at Anfield tomorrow night, early game on Fox Sports, should be a cracker.

It’s a shame our captain Stevie G and Torres are both out of the clash injured. I can’t see Rafa taking a gamble and including either for the clash and risking further injuries to both.

Monthly medal Saturday, took out my new TM Rossa Inza putter for its 1st 18 hole bash.

88 off the stick for a nett 5-under 64. Equalled my best ever round, stoked as I’ve hit the ball, putted and chipped poorly for the past few weeks.

Shot par on the 1st 3 holes, then triple bogey, birdied the 5th, quad bogey, par 8th, double bogeyed the 9th. gross 44 front 9 and same on the back.

Lost 0.8, h/cap down to 23.4

The Dragons threw the ball around too much from one side of the ground to the other thinking it was dry when having good field position, the Roosters under the pump and went onto drop the ball, knock on etc poor ball handling in wet, muddy conditions.

Roosters ground out the win by playing to the conditions.

6 from 8, the Dragons and Titans let me down.

Yes, earlier this year I ordered a set of Cobra FP irons from them.

The only issue is that they require (new international customers) a scanned copy of your credit card statement to verify your card number and address are the same due to rising global credit card fraud.

I emailed the front page of my statement (no transaction details) to their customer service dept. and my goods were shipped a couple of days later.
