Topic: Golf Talk / How to lower your handicap..Leave your tip Like most of us, I guess, finding it hard to move my handicap too much and seem stuck on the same mark. If everyone puts their tip down, it may build into a library, that can help us all win that major, we all believe we’ve got in us (haha) Here’s my tip for starters Lag putting….. Be happy with two putts. If i put it within the “dustbin lid” all the time I’m not going to leave myself 12 feet past |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Irons need lengthening by 1 inch to1-1/4 inch's
I actually got mine done when I bought the clubs, so they did it at no extra cost but they did say that it would normally be $50 for the set, so nearer $5 per iron. I thinks its a pretty simple process. |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Irons need lengthening by 1 inch to1-1/4 inch's Dave…Had my irons lengthened by an inch (with the extender) and the feel is fine. All done at Golf Box, East Perth. Also had 2 extra papers into the grip as apparently I have hands like a JCB shovel. My mate had his done at Drummond in Osborne Park. Both went very smoothly and was really inexpensive. |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Callaway X460 driver
Thanks for that. I’m prone to the odd wayward right drive (I take full responsibility for myself on this though) so could well be worth a look. Just one more question how did you arrive at the 4 to 5 g or was it just trial and error? |

What do the weights give you? I’m assuming you’re looking for some kind of draw. Is it a stick on tape you use? |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Lost Club - Not handed In Does anyone know of any companies, where you buy older individual irons to replace a 7 iron I left on course a few weeks ago? Have tried eBay (Aus/US/UK) but nothing as yet Any assistance appreciated. |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Help....In a panic
Out of the hundred I hit, I pulled at least 65% a good 20 to 40 metres left of target (depending on iron used) No real turn on the ball just a “straight” pull, if you know what I mean. I also hit around 10 balls with a shank. I haven’t done that for years. Of the one’s I hit straight they were a good 20 metres short of what I would normally expect with my Mizunos. Batta |

KYC I tried them in nets in the retailer with the standard length shaft and seemed OK. Although it’s difficult to tell 100% in the nets. Batta |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Help....In a panic Guys, Just upgraded my Mizuno T-zoid irons (normal length, regular graphite) for a set of Callaway X-tour (steel, regular). I’ve had the new clubs extended by 1inch as I’m 6 foot 4. Just picked them up and straight to the range and the results were woeful and that’s the polite version. Obviously it’s me and not the clubs. Is this normal when you change clubs? Anyone got any similar experiences? Batta |
