I can get 3 people on here at Sanctuary Lakes, or Eynesbury is well worth a look if there are more people interested.

Send me an email bio and you can join me at Box Hill any time.

Waterford is a good track for public access, not too hard to get on, nice condition, Rowville isn’t that far away if you live in the East / South East.

Kiwi,
Are you raising your hand for the job to be chief organiser.
Everyone above wow this is fantastic, I’m happy to play with everyone,
and play any golf coarse, I’m just a country boy who just loves to play golf, In W.A when I was working out bush saving money up to head to Europe to play, I play on a dirt coarse, We had sand scrape greens and had to carry a piece of grass turf around to place your ball on , the fairways were powdered dirt, You hit the ball left you were in cap rock country, hit it right and reload you were in the bush amongst spinafex
country, And I absolutley loved that coarse what a challenge.
Ditty your welcome to fly down any time and come for a game would be an honour to play with you, It would be a great honour to play with everyone and have the privilege to enjoy everyone’s company, we can all go out and have a ball playing a game we are all passionate about

With a line up like this and the cheap flights coming, I may fly home to Melbourne and play with you people…. weather gets better in around September/October.. I know Bio wants to play generally but a reunion of sorts might be good as the weather improves… thoughts?

Guys, I am a member at Heritage, happy to hook up a game there with any of you on either a Sat or Sun, there are two courses so never a drama getting a game.

Cheers

I have not looked at the Vic voucher list much but I would have thought most were more resorty than clubs. I can see why the clubs would not be impressed:)

I don’t think isg carries much weight…no offence to admin.

Basically it comes down to sunday only as club members still like to play the saturday comp at their home track. Having contacted nearly all metro clubs in the past, the best deal I struck was spring valley ($50 p/round).

Kiwi:

Yeah sweet! Once the ball comes off the tee it is a pretty level playing field with me! lol…

Alex:

Look forward to have you here!

Dave_1:

That’s no good, well we can organise public access days and work on pulling some strings behind the scenes to get onto some more exclusive tracks?

Guru:

You took the words out of mouth, ISG dropping has got to count for something… Publicity? ;-)

Why not have a look at the ISG voucher venue lists and picking a good one? One would hope that a phone call with “we potentially have 12-20 ISGers for choise of dates abc can we come?” might get a useful response. Heck all we hear from golf courses is how tough it is out there.

We’ve had a few in the past. The problem was getting access. Because no club members wanted to invite, we were stuck with public courses only (slim pickings) or driving further out to places like the frog or waterford valley.

Bio/AB/Kiwi
My flights from London are all now confirmed and I’ll be in NZ from 24th Nov to 15th Jan, then Melbourne from 18th January onwards. I plan to base myself in Melbourne with the view to play some golf, make contacts in the golfing circles, and also to learn as much as I can.
I’ve been coaching full time in England for 15 years and thought I knew quite a bit until I found iseek forums. I was so impressed by this web site it was one of the key factors in my decision to take a 4 month sabatical to NZ and Oz.
I’m counting down the days!!!
