Talart – its the original driver – their first release, there’s no model designation just “Driver” it’s 460CC, Headshape & sole plate are similar to the CB2 fairways with the two fixed weight ports in the heel.

I think OGIO bags don’t have a rep in Oz anymore. I’m not 100% sure but I drew a blank about 3 months ago.

I also looked for sun mountain bags as they come with great reputation.. I went for a Titleist x86 in teh end whih is a sun mountain 3.5 with one less pocket and a different harness. It’s been a revelation… It’s the easiest thing to carry I’ve ever had.

As for sand I carry it in my hand and put it on the ground… either that or I bum it off other people.

Get a stand bag – you can use it for carrying, on a buggy or in a cart. Cart Bags aren’t all that practical to be honest. I have a Titleist bag and I have no trouble doing all 3.

I prefer stand bags, they are far more versatile. Put them on a Cart, grab a pull buggy if you are feeling lazy, or carry them over 9 nine holes.
For sand, I use an old plastic 1 litre jug with a lid, fill it up with sand and stash it in one of the big clothing pockets. Easy.

Which stores carry Ogio bags (on the Gold Coast)? I’m in the market for a new bag and want to go and check them out.
