Topic: Recommendation for carry bags I have a Callaway bag and its great but I’d like a little more padding. I like the Titleist bags. The most comfortable bag I ever carried was a Wilson Staff bag with an Izzo swivel strap system. |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags I find my Ogio bag is superb. I have one of the ‘Flight’ models, the one with their ‘Shling’ harness/yoke system and find it works really well, better than my old double-strap style of bag – but be aware it is not for everyone! The ‘Shling’ tends to be a love it or leave it thing as a couple of mates have tried my bag to see what it is like and hated it, but it works for me! (do not remember using my cart bag and buggy since the day I bought the Ogio) Try as many as you can and see what suits you. |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags if you are going to carry all the time then the issue of the cost of a decent buggy also comes into the equation |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags I have been using a Nike Tour carry bag for about 5 years or so now….. absolutely sensational and one of the best bits of kit i have purchased. Only issue to appear was that the stitching where the strap attaches to the bag came undone about 6 months ago but had it re-stitched by a luggage repair shop for about $15. Not a big deal as i pick the bag up by the strap so that is the bit that gets the most wear… otherwise still going strong |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags I agree with those that say go for a quality bag. Cheap bags will have cheap straps, and cheaps straps won’t offer the support of the more comfortable ones. Choose wisely, because remember, carrying a stand bag will drop you 5 strokes. ;-) |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags I have a sun mountain bag and they’re great. My mate and I brought our bags at the same time and he brought an Ogio bag. About 4 months into it the mechanism on the legs of the Ogio broke. He took it back to the retailer and they did a straight swap. My Sun Mountain is up to 2 years now and no problems. Eek |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags Buy a good quality bag! Don’t skimp as others may suggest. I would argue that if you are carrying your clubs then the better quality the bag and strap system the BETTER you will score. Less fatigue and stress on your back, shoulders etc etc. Try out as many as you can but make sure that you put weight in it at the store as this will test how the straps sit on ur shoulders. I have used: Titleist, Ogio, bridgestone, Tourstage and cheap crap bags. The cheap bags last 5 seconds. The Ogio bags are worth every cent and are well made. The Titty bag was ok and lasted a fair bit. I am not sure who makes them now though. The Bridgestone and Tourstage bags are first class ordered from Japan and are quality stand bags. Yes there is a difference between the US/Aus market bags and the bags destined for the Japanese market (and you will pay more). Anyway, that is my rant. |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags Ogio bags are well designed in terms of number and style of pockets and their easy access. I find this really handy when carrying the bag. Also the harness is comfortable and no problem over 18 even for an old bloke like me. If you don’t care buy a cheap and nasty and replace it when it falls apart or gives you a sore back. |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags
I had the $50 K-Mart quality stand bag that fell apart in a year of use. I bought an Izzo bag on sale for $85 bucks about 5 years ago and the only reason I am replacing it is because I got a free Ogio bag. |

Topic: Recommendation for carry bags i recently bought a stand bag. i was going to buy Taylor Made but the bag didn’t have a drink holder. I bought a Callaway stand bag. Although the Taylor Made was probably a little more comfortable. |
