Yeh Cliff – I use exactly the same setup and it works very weel except for Channel 9 who just love running overtime or changing their programming. I love it when CSI cuts off 10 minutes before the end of the show!

The TV industry just like the golf industry just don’t get the internet too well :) Luckily channel 9 lost that court case so hopefully it taught everyone a lesson.

And no we can’t put up a list of pirate streams for obvious reasons even though they’re great to watch :)

We agree but trying to find out from the TV stations that this stuff is on is unbelievably difficult. CH 10 has a terrible website that is always out of date and trying to do something simple like find out what golf they have on HD is almost impossible.

It is crazy as they must be paying out reasonable dollars to cover this stuff so you would think that letting us know would be a good idea.

I just happened to stumble across the Indian Open a while back which was great to see all the Aussies playing on the Asian Tour who you never get to see play and on at a reasonable hour too!

Yep spot on MW. 100k or whatever he is getting paid has already paid for itself already as I have seen that story on every major newspaper website in the last day plus it’s been on ours and others.

While Daly may shoot 80-83 that’s not the point – it means that the Australian Masters got mentioned when it would not have otherwise most likely.

Remember a full page ad in the Sydney Morning Herald is 44k, a front page banner internet campaign on Ninemsn is something like 20k or more.

The promoters aren’t stupid :)

Welcome lenardb – Major problem is that for most of the time there’s nothing on free-to-air so it’s not worth a sticky.

If someone wants to start a thread about it then no probs of course but with very inconsistent free-to-air broadcasts of golf I can;t see the point.

We agree 1000% Daves – it is frustrating for us as it causes lots of problems and aggravation and it is certainly frustrating for golfers turning up to play what they think is a playable course.

Some pros seem to think it is better not to tell people because they will lose the business but in the end just burn the customer altogether and they won’t return again.

GG do not have any coring on AFAIK – they’re just using the teetimes system how it should be used which is to discount quiet days rather than have no-one at all.

Yes Nigel – again you’re missing the point. This is not a how to reshaft a club or do anything of the sort. It is to show you around the equipment in a Tour Van and very quickly as it was the day before round one of the PGA so we were lucky to be allowed in.

Take it as it is – a video of someone showing us his gear not a video of how to do anything to a club.

And again – this guy does this for his living on the PGA Tour – he knows what he is doing.

Nigel – I took the video myself mate – I can tell you what he does and what he doesn’t and who he fits and doesn’t fit.

The guy kindly gave his time during PGA week for us to video the inside of a Tour van that many people are interested in seeing.

This guy has done more in his lifetime than you will in 30.

Any goon would know that him running us through a very quick demo in the van is not the service he offers to his guys who come to the van.

Would hate to be the guy handing over $100k in prize money – hope he is not expecting much in return.

Same goes for the Women’s Golf Calender – never ever been sent a thing on it in two years – another publicity job.
