I was playing a round with my brother one day and came to a down hill par three of abut 105 meters. For a joke I decided to use my putter and i got it straight in the hole.
It was a jaggy hole in one but a great putt

I live in south australia now (used to live in Sydney), I have played camden once and was knocked unconcious by a ball to the side of my head (missed my temple by not much) some say that explains everything, after the hit i finished my game and had some good shots, i actually skimmed my ball across a dam there.

The course I play on has a 170 meter par 3 that has a stroke index of 5, I My handicap allows me two strokes on this hole, yesterday I was experimenting with my swing and grip and popped the ball on the green subsequently rolling it within centimeters of the hole, in competition if i had holed it what would the stableford score be?

that would mean that i would have to follow him around whilst also trying to play my game, there are times when i am in among the trees and he is on the opposite side of the fairway.

Hi there.
I have a rather sensitive question.
what responsibility do I have as marker to ensure a players score am I meant to count his shots,
I had a situation today where my playing partner hit inti a bunker, he commented…. “well that was a waste of two great shots”, he then had two shots in the bunker and two putts.
By my reckoning that meant he had two good shots then on into bunker two out of bunker and two putts that makes it 7, he told me 6?

i did add a penalty stroke because i wasn’t sure but i wasn’t trying to finish the stroke, when i realised the club was tangled i reactively pulled it away from the branch and the result was the club striking the ground behind the ball

I actually reached the top of my backswing when the club got tangled so as i attempted to free the club sort of in the same action, the club came free and struck the ground behind the ball, the ball did not move and i damn near broke my wrist as the club hit

I was attempting to hit my ball from under a tree. when i took my backswing the club got tangled in a branch, i had to untangel the club and take another, shortened swing. I penalised my self one stroke for the aborted swing even though i never completed my back swing, was i right?

G’day fellow golfers.
I have a query…Here is the scenario…...I am on the teeing ground, I placed my ball on my tee and step back for a practice swing, then I step up and place my clubhead behind my ball, in doing so I knock my ball of the tee, The rules book… rule 11-3 states (that if a ball falls off or is knocked off the tee by a player adressing the ball there is no penalty).
When I began my quest for my handicap and played my first game with an experienced player, I did exactly thatand he penalised me four strokes one for each time i did it. was he right? or should i debate this isue with him next time we play?

Hey guys and gals, I usually am in the first group to hit off on Saturdays but this week i was in the second group, what an eye opener, the greens had a fine layer of dew on them and i could follow the track of the first group and get a good read of the greens, I sunk four 20 foot putts bonus, what a pity that next week i am back to first group.

G’day, I am getting frustrated about my iron play it seems whenever i hit with anything more than a half swing with my 4,5,6 and 7 irons i always hit a dramatic slice from left to right.
i am not too bad with my woods and driver or with a short chip shot but any thing else left to right?

Hi, today I hit my ball in the rough the lie was about 1 meter from a G.U.R area, the area was surrounded by a fence made of large gauge chicken wire with the squares of wire being about six inches square, the fence was between my ball and the green i would have needed to hit through the wire to get to the green was i entitled to a free drop or a penalty?

Ok thank you pelvis, by the way love the picture but you need to comb your hair, my course here at thaxted park in south australia has some decent hills and seeing as i often looking for my ball in those ‘rough patches’ you have made my decision easier.

Is there anybody online that has gone from a normal two wheel buggy to a three wheeled suspension buggy? If so was it worth it does the suspension make any difference?and is it any easier to push/pull?
