Topic: Golf Equipment / Titleist 909 Driver Saw them about a month ago, but hit them yesterday. Not bad, the D2 for me launched too high, and the D3 felt good but didn’t seem to jump off the face. I’ll either go the 909 D3 or the Ping V2 Rapture (very long driver) |

Topic: iseekgolf Golf Days / Golf @Sydney I would give Muirfield and Oatlands the flick, there in the same bracket as North Ryde… but it’s up to you, and how much you want to spend…. Ryde Parramatta would be my choice out of that area, apart from Concord… |

Topic: Ask Bruce / Pros cutting in divots If you play The Australian there is no sand and you are requried to cut the divot in. The grass isn’t very soft, so you can’t really take a massive divot anyway. |

Just got, an email from the Australian Rep from Sky Caddie… “Thank you for your enquiry. Our units hold the UBLOX patented receiver technology which means that we maintain an accuracy of between 1-3 meters 95% of the time and sub 1 meter 75% of the time. Because of this and due to ground mapping that we undertake at each course, this accuracy remains the same throughout the world.” ___ And they all say there deadly accurate. |

Topic: Your Favourite Golf Courses / Hardest course in Australia? I have played NSW in some of the worst conditions imaginable and I still wouldn’t say it is the toughest. Royal Adelaide and The Australian are very very tough of the plates. Megenta is also very tough with some wind. Yet to play Newcastle, but hear it is a great track. |

Topic: Golf Equipment / Titleist Driver Comparison. depends on your action…. but the D2 is one of the worst drivers for me, I spin the hell out of it compared to my 905R. I know people that really like it and hit it great, but I’d say 80% of people that have given it a go dislike it. 909 D3 is the one to look forward to, AKA 983K. |

Topic: Ask Golf Guru - Golf Instruction / Long Drive Video...with A_B There is alot of credit to you, and it shows that only a special breed is capable of physically swinging it over 140. I never said to be the best in the world would be easy lol….I just said to be a long driver (consistantly hitting it 340yrds+) would not be extremely difficult considering hitting it 275m with a prov and a 45” isn’t all that hard. Being a professional golfer and competing with Tiger are two different things. I have picked up a 49” and it looked tough to hit, but with practise anything is possible. |

Topic: Ask Golf Guru - Golf Instruction / Long Drive Video...with A_B All I am saying is that it isn’t the hardest thing ever…. take the top 10 leading drivers of every tour and they could easily be long drivers. Say there SS is 125- with a 45” standard swing and there only going at it probably 85%. Maybe with practise and a 50” driver I can’t see why they couldn’t find another 10mph. Who cares about face angle/sweet spot.. that just comes with practise using a 50”... 1.5° error on a 10 foot putt will probably miss the hole as well. There is definitely alot of respect there, I have seen all of Zubacks you tube vids. |

Topic: Ask Golf Guru - Golf Instruction / Long Drive Video...with A_B Couldn’t be that hard i think… there are certainly some different actions, i am not a fan of the big blokes that just use there big mucles to reach the high SS. Ross fishers average is just under 300. But there are so many things to take into account. -he isn’t rying to SMASH IT impossible to compare his tournament average, to how far he could hit it in a long drive torney. |

Topic: Rules of Golf / Buffer Zones
It is the space where you don’t have to play to your handicap, and your handicap not increase. For example; playing of 15 you could have 34 stableford points and your handicap will stay the same, because of a two stroke buffer zone…..assuming course rates 36 points |
