yeah i have had my cg12’s about 3 weeks and lovem…funnily they dont spin as much as I thought they would…but i like that….I play a lot of pitch and runs with the gap wedge so I like it to release a few meters anyway

on longer shots they spin though as much as my CG11’s did

Got mine new for $148 each, if I purchased one it was $161, must say paying $300 for two wedges pissed me off initially, I have no regrets after using them a couple of times, great wedges.

About $189 per wedge. can be had on ebay for around $160 i think. The biggest downfall of the wedges is the price unfortunately.

I still rate the Sonartec forged wedges & you can pick them up new for a song on Fleabay now they’re out of production. I recently picked up 4 of them (52,54,56,58) for $200 new.

After much soul searching and trialing all the “good” brands over the last 6 months I decided to buy the 60°8 and a 54°10 Vokey spin milled wedges, and holy sh^t they are simply amazing, I have been using the Nike SV’s for the last 18 months and considered them a good wedge, but without a doubt they don’t stack up to the vokeys. The hardest thing to get used to is pitching past the hole with these wedges as they grip like nothing I have seen.

I have 3 vokeys that are, 50 (bounce 08), 54 (bounce 10) and 58 (bounce 12). The 54 and 58 are spin milled. Hard surfaced or packed sand with no depth I use the 50, fluffy sand and depth I use the 58 – works well! My old SW was TM 56 and was okay out of sand unless plugged on the green side rise, thats when I needed my 60 degree burner – the 58 (replaced the sw and 60 lob) does okay in that area.

Around the greens I find the 50 and 54 invaluable only thing is vokey don’t spin mill the 50 so I have a rusted oil can – also I find that the 54 and 58 when used around the green spagetti thread the outer cover of the ball so it’s real important to mark your ball on the green and inspect the cover instead of having it flop its way toward the hole.

I had my vokeys re-gripped with TM grips so that all my clubs are the same.

Hocka, i play golf at bayview and have spin milled 56 and 60, think my 60 is 10 degree bounce.

if you play golf at northern beaches you need bounce, because you can get some sticky lies around the greens and trust me you’ll hit a fair few fat if you dont have enough bounce!!

Ia also think a middle bounce around 10 is good…you can slightly close the face on a sw and hit with slightly descending blow if yioure playing off a thard panned course…the bounce of the wedge doesnt really matter when you hit that shot

To play a wedge with under 8 deg bounce, you need a fair amount of skill. Wit 4* bounce the wedge can be deadly around anything but firm tight lies. Very easy to blade under the ball and hit a big chub. Wedges are totally a feel thing, best bet is to get out and try a few differnt bounces.

don’t go 4deg unless your playing on hard grounds and firm bunkers…

I use 8deg but even still that is not enough, I think next time I will go 58.10…..

Hocka – 8 degrees of bounce is the max you can get in a Vokey 60 deg spin milled, without mods obviously.

I would stick with this as a 4 deg bounce tends to chop a bit into the turf around soft greens.

As a rule of thumb, if you play softer grassed courses (or with fluffy bunkers) get higher bounce. If you play courses with lots of tight lies and harder bunkers, get something with low bounce. I think getting something with around 8 – 10* bounce is the go. That way you get something that is versatile for most shots. If you get a shot that is on a tight lie, play your gap wedge or PW, as these will have much lower bounce.

I have a Craze H model h is hosel I think 34’ Very good feel I like it a lot, mines about 3yrs old I think .Have replaced the original grip and will need another soon .Highly recommended

I use the G2i CRAZE and love it. It’s on loan at the moment from my old man, but he can get it back from my cold dead hand. Easy alignment and swing weight is ideal for me.

I remember using the craz-E at a demo day when they first appeared. I didn’t buy it (too pricey at the time) but I remember thinking “I can’t miss !” Just about the best putter I ever used.

I have a G5i Craz-E C and love it. Has a great feel and luv the the centre shaft. I have tried the the Karsten Craz-E and it feels good but I as I said I like the centre shaft.

I just bought a second hand Craz-E and I am lovin it! I went on a putter-testing rampage as I was looking for something different (having a rough patch with my srixon mallet). I tried some Yes putters, Odyssey blade putters and the Craz-E. I loved the balance, feel and shape of the putter, it lines up nicely and gives a nice roll. It was a no-brainer! SOLD

I’ve got the 50 inch G5 Craz-e broomstick. It is without doubt the BEST putter that i’ve ever owned and man have I had some putters. I find it extremely easy to line up and short putts which used to terrorise me are now confidently hitting the back of the hole. FANTASTIC!!!!
