34 points yesterday.started good getting a birdie on my 1st(10th) hole then went 2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1 for the remaining holes on the back 9.
then highlight of the round on the 1st(my 10th hole) got a eagle from about 140m out with a nice 9 iron over some high trees landed within a foot and then rolled in.nice 2/4.
apart from that nothing else was promising.

lefty,from what i can gather from talking to you is that you know you can shoot a low score but when you get on a roll you seem to remind yourself how crap you can be so you fall back into the rutt,you know what i mean?
like today, 6 three pointers in a row ,your prob thoughts were geez when are these misses goin to come or dont shank it.
its all in the head lefty,remember you had 27 points in 9 holes.not 7 with the other 9

I only started using the reverse grip on my putter a few weeks ago and ive found it has helped quite alot.hcp8>6 in 2 weeks.
wouldnt touch it on short chip shots thought.

the mp67s are blades and the 57s are muscles.
i reckon though if you hit the mizunos you will be hard pressed to go past em.

Those big plastic models with the rubber tops can go 20+ metres, backwards or forwards , and can be a bit of a hazard when they go back. I’ve been hit in the head by them more than once while standing 5 or 6 metres behind the guy teeing off.

Remember buying 2 of those from our proshop and on the first tee lost it in the garden 5 metres in front of me then on the 17th hit the tee into the middle of a little dam.never bought them again.

Ive got the mp67s and couldnt be happier with them,i prev had the mp60s but wanted a smaller head to look at at address.
if your a good ball striker it would be hard to go past the mizunos.
As for wear…if your hitting 500 balls a day you might notice some wear in the mizunos but if not you wont be seeing any changes.

2bbb with no stab in conjuction (which is stupid) but we had a good round had 48pts but lost on a countback.26f9 22b9.
form is still good figured i may have had 38 or 39 pts if there was singles.

another thing, hit your shot then talk to your playing partners dont think about what you have coming up next only focus on what you have when you get there.

As long as your head stays behind the ball i dont see any problem just keep your chin up so your shoulders can get through the ball.

i hate it when people look for tees for ages,whats wrong with the ‘ol wooden tees which if you happen to lose or break is no big deal so you can get on with your game instead of holding everyone up for a $1 piece of plastic?

played kurri for the 1st time today today and quite enjoyed it.
was expecting brown fairways but they were actually quite green.
the greens were great though,no blemishes or bumps and they rolled true.probably the best greens ive putted on.
had 39 points or 75 O.T.S (par 72) so depending on course rating i might be down to 5 for the 1st time woop di doo.

13th at shorty.its about 160m -170m downhill par 3 but im always in between clubs,its either a hard 6 or a easy 5, no normal shot its either hard or easy.
cant remember the last time i pared it,it certainly wasnt today as i took a double.

par comp today.
had +7 which won the day and as well i had my first even par round with 2 birdies and 2 bogies.
got lucky on the 17th were i pulled my 2nd into the bunker on the low side of the green so i was content to try and get a par for a square ,but i flushed the shot and it went in the hole on 2nd bounce so i was back to even,last hole was not easy either but i got my par so im stoked.
had 28 putts

happy with that ,had a chip in eagle on the 14th and very nearly one on the 17th holed a very bendy putt on the last for par which was nice.
had 28 putts hitting 9 greens and 8 fairways.

last round of club champs shot 80/72 to finish with 323/294 which is 10 over my hcp for the 4 rounds.
started well -1 after 3 but had 2 bogies in a row to quickly fix that.
once again i couldnt putt,well i did get a bird on the 1st and last but that was a jag from about 40-50 feet.
as well i didnt have a par on a par 4 till the 10th (except the 1st,had a 3) thats 4 shots gone.
i need to learn to putt though

think that port stevans golf deal is $120 for NB,horizons and pacific dunes which is exceptional value.

no shots,but sunday i was very close(2m) to about 4 or 5 rainbow lorrikeets(sp).i know they are shy so i was quite surprised to get so close to them.
At my course we are quite close to wetlands,so we get a wide variety of birds inc ball thief crows and swooping magpies.
the last 4 weeks its benn going me,there are 4 people in a group so why does it pick on me?

Dazza,i tried the 3dx tour and i thought it was pure…good solid feel at impact and had a great traj 9’ and it went str8,it had the xs shaft in it as well which threw me off my other driver when i got back to it.
