President of 15 member 9 hole sand scrape course where I live objected to me hitting a number of balls around the course because recently a menber in the club championship had hit the wrong ball which may have been one of my lost balls.He even suggested there may be an ettiquette issue.There is not an acceptable practice area at the course.I was asked to stop hitting and losing balls?

Fair enough I’d say. May want to have a think about all the other golfers that take the game more seriously than you do.

I’d be happy with 4 hours, but when it takes 3 hours to get the first 9 in and you’ve spent most of that waiting to t-off each hole it can get frustrating.

I got my first HIO on Sat! I’m pretty sure it was better than watching someone else get one, though can’t say for sure.

Slow play. It’s killing my enjoyment of the sport.

All it takes is a little consideration and common sense. Something that is hard to find on public courses.

I’m just shifting from hitting off with my hybrid to a 5 wood (slowly working my way up.)

I find the hybrid 5 iron gives me the best distance/accuracy. I still use it when I need to get a bit of distance on longer par 3s.

Am starting to get the 5 wood under control and looking forward to working my way up to the driver.

120 meter par 3, 9 iron, in off 1 bounce
Playing on my own but a guy coming up the 1st saw it go in, got him to take a snap with me by the hole with the lucky ball.

I’d dropped behind my group looking for a ball and they all stood aside at the green to let me play.

I hit a great shot with my 9 iron, nice and high and just a little short. One of my mates started walking to his ball right after I hit but lost my ball in the sun.

He quickly realised that he’d walked right into the path of my ball but had no idea where it was so he just stopped and covered his head. Well his hands were in the wrong spot as my ball hit him full in the nuts.

I just hate how Brad goes all quiet when the topic of a Melb demo days comes up.

BUT I do have to add that I love the product, loved the service and love it that Lind are local and making an effort to provide quality gear at a reasonable price.

I’ve got a set of Lind irons and love them. Since buying them I have picked up a bunch of new clubs on sale that I would have bought from Lind if they had had a demo day here.

To add to it, Brad seems to go quiet every tine it comes up. If they let us know what the issues are perhaps someone could assist???

Like all fakes out of China there are 2 kinds – Knock-offs which are just copies and ‘out the back door’ which are overruns, rejects, etc. The ‘out the back door’ kind are exactly the same as the real ones.

In my experience with golf clubs it is easy to find club heads that are real but very hard to find shafts. They are mostly knock-offs of varying quality.

Guys, excuse the ignorance. When you are talking ‘points’ how are you scoring?

I’ve never played comps, just social/recreational golf. Would love to get into playing comps when i get a bit more consistency in my game.

Scored a +2 over 9 holes today (3 bogies, 5 pars 1 birdie) – my best score so far. Have come down from shooting an average of +12 over 9 to around +6 to this.

Got a tip from the Pro in the shop before I went out that has gone a long way to cure the hook I developed over the past 3 weeks. Was hitting most of them straight off the T, despite the wind.

You walked onto the course with full knowledge of what could happen. To expect someone else to pay is childish and shows a complete lack of responsibility for your own actions.

Unless the other guy was negligent – i.e. aiming at you.

It’s this kind of mentality that will take us down the same road as the US.

What gets me the most is players Teeing off on a par 3, with a driver, whilst you are still putting out… 160 meters away.

Sure, they only hit it 50 meters along the ground, that when you hear that sound you duck for cover.
