If you want cheap golf, I suggest perhaps Borneo. Its alot cheaper than Thailand etc, and pretty good from what Ive read/herd.

Ive been to Phuket to play golf twice though, and its stunning. Worth every single penny, and the caddies are just awesome! =)

For the Genuine stuff, its not any cheaper- Then theres the bother, and possibly the expense in bringing it home. So IMO I wouldnt bother.

I think a major factor probably would be confidence. For some reason, I always hit my fairways and irons straight/slight draw, and therefore have the confidence to swing harder and stroke the ball with greater clubhead speed. With the driver, it can sometimes be a bit inconsistant :(

golf guru- Im not really sure, its definently a different swing, something Id have to look at. Mentally, I think I am striking down on the ball with my irons, but with my driver sweeping it off the tee, instead of driving through it.

I have a normal speedish swing speed with my irons, but for some reason, I trouble swining my driver at the same speed. (Fairways not included) Therefore, I am losing distance

What can I do to try and speed up my driver swing speed, is it just strength, or should I wait and see if it comes in time.

Yeah, nothing cheap- All resort type courses. Even if your not the best player in the World, you have to have atleast one round. No such thing as a Public Course- You dont really see Thai’s playing golf…

Been to Thailand twice on Singapore Airlines. Did not bother with broom handles and such. Clubs wrapped with shrinkwrap plastic around all the clubs, into a travel bag. Didnt cost a thing.

Is this what your saying? It is obviously a problem with my hands. When I open my stance up, my hands work the ball correctly, but with a normal stance, something is affecting my hand/wrist?

I used to play a very slight draw, but now I have a problem.

When I hit the ball, usally anything above 7 iron, It travels straight for a very short distance, and then travels directly left.

I was experimenting, and if I position my feet well left of the target, but have the clubface aimed at the target, I hit a perfectly straight shot towards the target- with no draw/hook/slice/face

Any Ideas?

Myself- Always in the hole, never pickup. I played with somebody recently who started off taking 1 foot gimmies, and at the end of the round starting taking 3 footers. Well, that just made me angry. For starters- he didnt ask for my concent, and 3 foot- Well I always thought 1 foot was sort of a maximum.

Yeah, Played Keppera and its the one im trying to join. Its the best course (Of its rate) in Brisbane- Plus 27 holes, you cant beat that. Just gotta convince Dad its worth it – For him atleast- I could join any decent track for $2/300, just he cant :-p

I have both a 19 Titleist 904F and a 585.H 19. I use the hybrid because I also hit it the same distance, but much easier to work the ball, and vary distance.
