Topic: What's In Your Bag?
Hey Ditty, The Yes putter has a very heavy head 370 grams, which suits me to a tee, especially in winter on the slower greens. In addition, it is easy to align with a long sight line. I have tried blade putters in the past ie Mizuno Bettinardi, Ping Redwood and can’t seem to get a feel for them, thus no confidence at address. I also bought it at 33 inches. Most of us are using putters off the rack that are too long. My eyes are right over the ball now, without having to choke down on the grip. Hope this helps…... |

Topic: What's In Your Bag? Thanks Dave - I hit my R7 fairly straight (most times) and like it but after hitting the Burner on the launch pad, it hit longer and with a better trajectory – been playing in some windy conditions lately so if I bought the Burner I would use it on the windy days and keep the R7 for those nice Queensland sunny days with no wind. Does anyone know what Canberra weather is like in November? |

Topic: What's In Your Bag? I noticed brand new Burner’s in the store today for $255, I would have tired it out based on what people are saying but the only stock they had was the burner draw. |

Topic: What's In Your Bag? no no the loved it…my mates will think Im mad upgrading to the burner tour but I got a very good deal of ebay and was worth the punt…I wanted to be able to work the ball a bit more…I also wasnt obsessed with distance.. the tour buner has 45.5 inch shaft compared to the 46 inch…its also a 10 grams heavier shaft I swing at 100 so I was bodering on stiff but stuck with regular I wanted to go back to 10.5 degree driver just for the slight bit of extra loft which means more fairways hit the burrner is about 1.5 degrees closed..if you slice the burner is a great driver Im actually keeping my burner..I dont normally keep my old driver but in this case I will as I still like it plus the tax man is always kind with my job so oh what the hell |

Topic: What's In Your Bag?
nah not the TP…straight tour – got it this week….another slightly impulsive buy but hit it today on the range and oh sweetly it goes to be honest I think its kind of clever marketing thing that TM have named it a tour driver…..when it sits sqaure it doesnt sit 0.5 open or 1 dgree open….I was using the standar burner which was 1 degree closed I had a 9.5 buner but have gone back to my lived 10.5 to simply hit more fairways….nice feel of the face and nice flaight…highsih without balooning…it was a good say to test as it was into the wind on the range today it sits nicley at adrees…could shape the ball at will with it…was hitting a nice 220 meter draw into the wind….. cant wait for the real test tomorrrow…on course test…. |
