Topic: Wanted- TM reax 65 reg flex shaft only

Personal preference ellimb. Heavier shafts will generally lead to more control, lighter shafts can be swung faster.

Why 65 and not 50 or 55? I thought lighter shaft has better feel?

Depends on what glue they used first as well. Got to love the 5 Minute Epoxy.

Word of advice if you haven’t done this before…Don’t do it yourself unless you want to trash the shaft already in the club. Take it to a shop or pro & they should charge you $20-$50 depending on whether they spine/flo or just cut n glue.

If you have a good driver head and wish to keep it looking that way, its a good idea to get the Pro to do it for you. Does not cost much apart from what the new shaft and anywhere between 30-50 to get it done.

I feel your pain brothers – will try and get on a little later tonight. Yet to get an ace but come close a few times (I hit the flag the other night and the ball rolled 5 foot away).

Cheers,

Mick

Mr C, its a point of honour at my work, you gotta use the low handicap clubs. Have a couple of hoaxes here who wander over with tales of playing well with the amateur sticks, they are quickly dismissed by the “better club” cognoscenti. Have gone sub 100 once but have never been close again

Ha yea I hate it. Has anyone tried the “low capper” clubs yet? The green bar moves so freakin quick!

Anyone got a hole in one yet? I came aweful close.. 0.68 yards. Also anyone know what is meant by potential best?

1-L, it is all there my friend.

Potential best is your best score on each hole as a possible total, mines around 15 but at the moment I can’t get past 108. Hole in ones will come as you play more, I think I’m on 16 at the moment

Thanks for the offer live4golf, I really do appreciate it mate, but the wife was saying this morning I should get the prescription for my glasses first – I told her that sight is overrated but she wears the pants in the family.

Cheers,

Mick

No problems at all Pom and thanks for the TW opinion live4golf.

I was going to buy a notebook the other day (watch DVD’s on the way to work, occasional game play, etc) but then looked at a PSP instead.

I would have bought one on the spot because they had a massive sale at Harvey Norman ( I think the PSP was $265.00 with 3 games) but the guy didn’t know anything about it. Was about to buy a PSP today as well but it was $285.00 just for the console.

Oh well back to saving – I really could do with a new putter anyway.

Cheers,

Mick

Bah!

I’m going to Tokyo this weekend, they are about $200 there :) – I can pick you up one of you want…..I only live just down the road.
