hopefully it wont be as disgraceful as shinnecock, those greens were ridiculous.

On that note Ernie, Retief or Mickleson to win! Either one is a good bet.

Topic: Golf Equipment / PGF Status PWT Clubs

Hi Grant,

I have used PGF Status oversize irons for a number of years and found them to be a very efficient club. Nothing flashy about them and not as well recognized as other high profile brands but in future you won't be able to blame the clubs for bad scores in future.

And they also wear out the quickest, MP30s are so soft after 6 months of playing 3 -4 days a week they needed to be replaced!! Very annoying sad.gif

Topic: Golf Equipment / shaft suggestions ??

the EI70 Xflex is decently low torque, however it still remains its feel
if you like boardy, get a cheapo UST profoce 75 Xstiff
or maybe if you really want just go w/ a Rifle 6.0 tipped or X100 tipped

Topic: Golf Equipment / The cost of golf!

Thank god for ebaY, if we didnt have ebay we would all have to buy retail, and keep trading stuff in for ridiculously low prices. That would suck.

Golf has always been expensive, i was watching footy when Dustin Fletchers teeth got knocked out, one of the commentators said "there are more doctors than on a golf course".

So i suppose equipment makers are trying to cash in on their 'intended' customers. biggrin.gif

Topic: Golf Equipment / shaft suggestions ??

Hi, after suggestions for shafts, normally play a cobra 370 with a true temper EI-70 II X flex. Picked up a TM 320 with a fujikura 757 stiff, and feels to soft for me. I don't know how fast I swing but good drives average 250-265m, so I don't consider myself exceptionally long at all, but I just don't like to feel the shaft wobble at all. With this new driver, I was thinking of maybe something a little lighter? the current shaft I'm playing is 75 g ????????

Topic: Golf Equipment / Rifle 6.0 Shafts.

I could quite possibly have tried almost all shafts before I purchased my irons. I ended up with Rifle Lite 5.5 and they play firm in my opinion. The regular 5.5's probably played a fraction stiffer, possibly attributed to being slightly heavier reducing club head speed in my case.
I tried the 5.0(reg) and 6.0(stiff) but the 5.5 gave me the ball flight and forgiveness I was after.
