Hanging offence at my club- or at least very expensive. You get about 2 seconds grace if you are actually in the process of removing it as you walk in the door.

It is completely unacceptible- NO excuses. Other than pro golfers during tourmaments as they are too stupid to understamnd manners

Let them be worn wherever, club numbers are dwindling everywhere, the playing rules change every 4 or so years so why not a hat rule.

Not a rule of golf 3offTT but might be worth starting a campaign for, thru the relevant authorities ( RandA, USGA )  more to do with etiquette and the general values of society.

Had the shop door open all day when you played Yarra recently. You were only 2 hundred metres away and still didn't make an appearance :)

I agree.. there are bigger issues to tackle than hats in a club house. Some of the outdated dress standards make me laugh, no coloured socks?!?

It’s 2019, move forward, make the game more enjoyable and welcoming to new members.

Yeah go for it. Bit of an inconvenience trying to fark around with your wallet with a golf glove on but if you wanna look like a dik then don't let us stop you.

Sorry, there are just some things that separate us from the birds and the beasts. Just take your hat off - its not that hard if you practice.
