and we're at $600

and I've run a total of 26.6kms so far. That is pretty much on track for doing only 100kms for the month so I know I still need and want a lot more dollars to make this worth it

A mere $10 from everyone else that posts on here that has not already donated should cover it.. :)

it was already just sitting there on the bathroom floor and the best part was that I didn't need any additional adhesive.

when that runs out, i'll just use the surplus from my back and shoulders...

I had planned to punching out a quick 6.5km dash back home after my nephew's party on Saturday night, but I forgot my shoes, probably subconsciously, so I didn't get the run in on Saturday that I needed to try and play catch up with the distances.

During one of the wake ups of new kid, I checked my phone, saw a donation and thought it was a dream, but no it was real, I had received the most generous donation from a genuinely kind-hearted kooky old digger adding a lot of kilometres to my total. For many, many reasons, he is really a beautiful human.

This is one of the special things about raising funds for different charities, knowing how generous everyone is throughout the year for many different and very worthy charities, as well as continually supporting Beyond Blue, I am still very humbled by the generosity that this place shows. There are things that we are dealing with in our own lives, some big, some small, there are some people dealing with coming second on a countback again, but still fronting up and being a real winner.

Thank you to all who have donated so far, I am genuinely humbled and blown away that it will be likely that I will reach my target before half way through the month. Thank you. This does then mean that I was certified crazy to expect to be able to run the distances that I thought I could do. It will be tough from here, my hips and knees hurt and I know I have a long, long way to go, but by jingoes I am going to red hot crack.

This post comes with a Public Service Announcement!

The results of the spot I had cut out 2 weeks ago came back that I needed to have more cut out to increase the margins, I have officially joined the Queensland's with a Melanoma club. While mine was still contained to the single source, it had its bags packed ready to start its journey towards my bones.

The gash out of my back now is bigger than some of the divots I've taken so advice from the doc is that running is off for at least the next week.

This puts me waaaay behind the 8 ball as far as being able to make the distances within November alone, so it will be very likely that I will still be running for this through into December. I hope this is ok.

and for those who are ever outside in the sun, get checked. It takes a hour of your time and is too important not to get done.

Glad you weren't slack about it. I see the Dermatologist every year and I urge everyone else to do the same.

Every body needs an annual service. Check the bloods, urine and turds. Plus the eyes and skin. Shocked by some people who never bother.
