There is never a good time to ask for more and more money, particularly after the ultimate generosity that is always shown by the beautiful boys and girls of ISG.

I had a year off last year because it does get tiresome in always asking the same people over and over again for fundraising monies when they have already been so generous throughout the year.

But the sad part is that there is always a need to keep on raising the very much needed funds that go to men's health, not only is the Beyond Blue invaluable and hopefully benefiting from the great deeds that the ISG community is providing them, the prostate and testicular cancer programs will statistically, more than likely have a visit from a few of our online brethren.

I have a couple of reasons for jumping back on the fundraising train again this year, and hopefully there is one reason that you have and can think about when you are making a donation to my page in the hope of making a difference.

A significant motivator for me this year is my general health so I am pledging to run 100m for every dollar that I raise throughout the month of November.

Simply, if I can reach my target of $1000, I will run the equivalent of an ultra marathon for the month.

It will be my aim to always make sure I am within a day or two of having run the required distances, so don't all be mean and load up on me in the first few days.

Bump's Movember page

Thank you

I love you all, so many beautiful Iseekers already.

Far from it being an excuse or a hiccup to begin with, but I won't be kicking off my running today.

I had a spot cut off my back on Tuesday, which in itself is a great reminder for all of us to get checked regularly, and it is still just a little too tender for running just at the minute.

I will be going to the chemist today at lunch to see what I can get in the way of pre-workout juices and some muscle recovery protein powder.

Day one, freshly shaved!

it's game on boys and girls

and with run number 1, $92 has been run down.

my accumulative dollars = $550

and running total = 9.2kms

I am on a mission to see who is the most famous person that I can get a donation from is.

I did have David Boon one year when I saw him on a talking tour so it will be an effort to top that

update time!

no new dollars from previous

an 8.5km run today at lunch takes my running total to 17.7kms

The mo has been shaven in and is taking shape.

Now is when the exposure starts and I am in a better position to start asking for dollars again

Make sure there's no kids around when you start exposing yourself. The mo probably won't do you any favours in that situation.

and we're at $600

and I've run a total of 26.6kms so far. That is pretty much on track for doing only 100kms for the month so I know I still need and want a lot more dollars to make this worth it
