Hi All

Looking to bite the bullet and join a club.

Interested to hear any thoughts on Riversdale, particularly from anyone that may be a member there? It’s close to home and seems like a nice course

Thanks in advance

Nice course. Terrific clubhouse setup.

Hope you like hills. It's up there.

I played there this morning.   Our "group" play an annual challenge against their members every year.   The course was in pretty good condition today.   Fairways and bunkers good but at this time of the year they have done some light scarifying (?) of the greens recently and a little sanding.   Greens were still pretty quick and there is a lot of slopes and swales on them.

Some works were being done on the paths just out the front of the clubhouse today and the members were telling me that they have further planes to upgrade the 3rd hole soon.   They are constantly working on the course and well worth joining in MHO

A very good course with excellent facilities. As stated it is very hilly and can be a hard slog during the hot weather. Because of it's location it would be assumed that they have a pretty full membership. There really aren't any private golf clubs in this area with Box Hill GC the closest . It is expensive and commands a decent joining fee. The Members I know there speak highly of the 'Club' and it has a very competitive golf environment. Certainly worth an enquiry. Good luck.
