Makes sense to me. Why not?

Country golfer on a City course.

I'm good, but no-one seems to care.

Now I find out a French au-pair is NOT a breed of goat!

Is it really your ABC?

Many do.

But the issue of space vs. use and how they may better use that space. These days alot of the space is taken up with pokies, TAB, smoking areas etc. I know of a couple of billards areas now that are now smoking areas.

Sunshine has one

I'm guessing it's not exactly 'pristine'

Pool & snooker tables are good for a bunch of blokes to hang around, playing a few games, having quite a few drinks over an extended period of time. But now the clamp down on drinking & driving has put a big dampener on such festivities.

I miss the old days sometimes.

And the people who have been killed by drink drivers miss the new days sometimes, actually all of the times.

There is a pool table at Burleigh, when I was there last week there was an enthusiastic money game underway.

Some of the best fights I've ever witnessed started because of enthusiastic money games on pool tables. :)

Club houses are open maybe 10-7 every day. Out of that 63 hours how often would the pool room be occupied ?

I'll have a guess at 10 hours on a busy week.

Total waste of space and money.

This is how clubs get into strife with huge debts for new clubhouses.

Some other stupid wasteful ideas that have been touted in our future clubhouse design include library, kids play room and squash court
