Does anyone know if you can put any shaft, other than stock shafts in a PING G Driver ?

I currently have the standard shaft and I am wanting a bit more roll out.

I have a matrix ozik white tie in my 3 wood which rolls out nicely.

The shaft is a x flex in my driver.

and/or is there a suitable x flex that is a tad lighter?

cheers

Aldila :
Rouge Green, Orange and Blue Xflex 58-55-57 grams 4.2-4.0-4.0 tq high-low-m/h kps
RIP phenom Xflex 50 gram 4.2 tq m/kp

VS proto Xflex 60 gram 3.2 tq m/h kp
NV 2KXV blue Xflex 60 gram 4.6 tq m/h kp

I have a Ping G and have a Matrix 6M3 Black Tie and 5M4 Black Tie - both in X-Flex.   Both are low launch and low spin shafts and seem to do the trick in terms of run out IMHO.

I just bought the shafts and Ping adapters off ebay.

Well played Numby.  Seems Bushy has not heard of the wonders of the Bay and his Pro... well, not sure about his credentials if he could not supply a solution to what is a very simply solved problem.

Anyway, now Scbush1 will know about your response.
