When viewing your handicap record online (http://www.golf.org.au/handicap), can anyone provide me with a brief description (in layman terms) of what the "Slope Played To" values represent in Golf Link.

Thanks

Marg

The 'Rules & Handicapping' section should help with info.
Except it wouldn't work on my tablet when I clicked it.

It's going to change again next year anyway.

Not sure if you have tried this, but if you hover the curser over any of your flagged rounds it will come up with a description of how the Sloped Played to is derived.  It is not that hard to understand really.

Hi Marg

here is the explanation

lets assume you played off 18 and had 33 points.

Par 72 DSR of course was 71

Slope of the course you played = 130.

the calculation will be

33 points means 3 over hcap 21 over = 93 gross

gross - dsr = 93 - 71 = 22

22 x 113 / slope 130 = slope adjusted 19.1

This figure is then played to.
