Changed to Sunday’s to get more attending, as requested by some...nothing
Getting better courses on the list...nothing.

Yep, I’m reckoning that this’ll be my last year running the NSW mob, time for fresh blood to take over...I’m tired and just want to turn up and play.

I feel your pain;)

Barnesy

I feel your pain....

I don't really understand why people wouldn't be lining up to play Magenta..... it's a cracker of a course and without car issues (which are still unresolved) the PMG and myself would have been there for the day....

That is a 5 hour trip there, a nights accommodation and a 5 hour trip home....  :(  :(  :(

Why those in Sydney and surrounding areas don't want to be part  of the day, your guess is as good as anyones

In comparison for Nationals we start with about 50-60 pax a year out and then dwindle down to 40 on average for main event.

When you have a smaller base to start with then when dwindles there is not much left.

Everyone has busy lives and other priorities, ailing bodies!, etc so getting everyone to an event is a challenge for sure.

We need a bigger base to start for both. For me Sunday events in Qld are tough due to family commitments, but if all works well Ill make it to PJ event.

All good Pegs...certainly wasn't basing my opinion on those with a long way to travel except for those in NEWCASTLE! ;)

...was more aimed at those that used to whine about it being on a Friday 'cause they couldn't take the day off work, then said put it on Sundays and "I'll play".....still waiting.

One of the other things that was mentioned way back was quality of courses.,...well the top courses cost big bucks to play and that just scares people away, but if we play a cheap course "it's a bloody goat track"...or even a Potato Farm!

Can't win.
