Is your SME earning as much as a Multi National Corporation? Or an NAB type enterprise?

You just said corporations, you didn’t specify the size.
Agree that there needs to be a multinational move to close off shore tax havens for multinational corporations, and wealthy elite to dodge their tax burden. Most of them do it including sports teams like Manchester United. Forget 30% if they just paid 10% it would be a step forward.

The balance is skewed. It's not Union chants. The worker is not just those who work in manual labour or trades.
Our entire manufacturing industry is being closed down because the Multi Nationals make more profit in unregulated countries where they can exploit their workforce.
Proposed changes to workplace laws here will take away the right for Union members to elect their leadership.
The elected Government want to give the same Multi Nationals tax cuts.
The Media tell us its a good thing.
I'm not buying what Murdoch is selling.
Why are you?

What's your proposed solution to these problems?

Government contracts for equipment and services tendered for and supplied by Local manufacturers and businesses. Not overseas companies would be a good start.

isn’t that a completely separate point? A good one, maybe, but rather disparate to the original posts?

This is brilliant, it's like playing Anti-Vaxxer bingo.
Whenever they're challenged or merely asked a simple question, it's always comes back to them being the only one capable of free thought and that the others should do their research and not rely on the information of Big Pharma, or in this case, Murdoch Press.
Well played Mick, you stayed on script perfectly

Bump you are assuming that the umpire you reference is actually independent.

The union owned Labor government put it in place so I doubt it is

Our manufacturing is shutting down because we aren’t competitive - how does giving employees more rights to strike and unions more power help that?

Staff making cars were getting over $100k a year when there are many many people who would do the work for less - but closed union shops meant that the high wages were stuck so they couldn’t make cars profitably

I know it’s nice for you Mick working for an organisation that doesn’t have to make a profit but suggesting that businesses will magically start popping back up in Australia by increasing workers rights isn’t real in any way

So pay double for things to source then locally? Have you always driven an Australian built car Mick? Do you always buy the Australian made option even if it’s much more expensive?
