7i carries 170, 5i is 190 all in yards

So, a yard is 0.9144 of a metre.

5i, 190 yards = 173m

7i, 170 yards = 155m

PW, 140 yards = 128m

52*, 115 yards = 105m

:o

I feel very insignificant.

Your 7i is my 5i

first off the lofts are probably stronger than yours, although I hit my mizunos similar distance but needed to hit them a lot harder and better whereas these I can swing easy and get the same distance or more..

The second thing is would you rather hit 7 iron to 15 feet or 5 iron to 2 foot, number on the bottom doesn't matter it's about the score o don't get hung up on distance.

The good thing about these is not only are the short and middle irons longer so is the 4 iron which means anything around the 390 yard or 350 meter mark is only 4 iron 7 iron depending on roll, elevation, wind etc.

I played bowls for 20 years. I have no recollection of anyone using a 6 iron in that time.

My bad... 6i is 140m not yards, but you're probably right anyway.
