When I asked this question I thought everyone looked, concentrated on the front, back or on the ball itself. I'm amazed at the number of you who don't even think about the ball during your swing. If I didn't concentrate on something around or on the ball I'm afraid I would top it, blade it, or go way under it.

How often can you say you actually hit the spot you are concentrating on??

How many cans had you smashed by then?

Placegetter and I had only just arrived from the drive down, it was pretty early in the morning.

Short drive then, and why you were in "the zone"

I stopped drinking during golf rounds now. I have to keep a certain "zone level" of alcohol in me , not enough or too much and my brain falls apart. I tend to error on to much!

and I always tee my ball my ball with the manufacture's name aligned with where I am aiming, same with my putts.

Possibly the only golfer I’ve ever heard of teeing up their putts. Whatever works I guess.

Interesting fact. I was the one driving and I don’t remember the driving range session. It may have sounded too much like practice.

How often can you say you actually hit the spot you are concentrating on??

I agree with this thought. I have only recently (the start of this thread) become aware that there should be a spot on the ball I should concentrate on. It is interesting in principle but does sound quite hard.

Also hadn’t appreciated I would be scrutinised so harshly for not knowing where I aim at. If the ball moves forward I consider it a win. If it goes backwards I consider it a loss.

Use of the word session is a bit of a stretch, I still had thongs on.

You wear more than one at a time?
Is that in case one slips off the 'equipment'?

One on my left foot, one on my right foot.
It has that little part that you put between your toes so it doesn't slip off.

The comic stylings of OB, CB and Tol.

It's like the forum version of the 3 stooges.

Except there's only 2 now.

And they didn't bring the funny.

Champ.

Difficult to look at a specific spot when you're cross eyed like me, especially after a big night.
