Hi All,

Seems like a decent bunch in this forum.

I've been playing over a year, once a week mainly twilight golf in North Ryde, Chatswood and Muirfield.

Only recently broke 100 once a didn't bring my drive. learned mostly from meandmygolf on youtube.

I'm looking for advice if anyone knows where I can practice my short game and putting as a social member.

With work i only get to play at the weekend mainly once but twice if the Mrs is in good form.

Also would love to play with better players  to pick up some tips if any of you fance a hit on the weekend.

Happy to travel around Sydney.

The Sydney crew can better advise on practice locations, check out ISG Golf Days area of this forum there is a Sydney group that get together every couple months and new players are always welcome to join them!

As well you may get invite for some other social rounds from our members

Ps I hope you still keep thinking we are a good bunch on here:)

North ryde has a chipping green on the side of the second. Give marty a call in the pro shop and see what it will take to get on there. Probably the putting green you can just rock up to.

Thanks Snap, I've seen it alright, I might say it to Marty the next day.

I think there might be one just off the 14th Par 3 on the right.

Thanks Putin!

I thought I checked Lynwood online but obviously missed it. Think I'll head out there maybe Wednesday.

I was watching Steve Stricker with little wrist action  and it seems to be working better for me but just feel awkward.

Thanks mate, you play much in North Ryde?

I'd love to join as its close but the joining fee is a turn off.

The twilight golf works out pretty cheap

Drive up there to the range acting like a member, you can use the short game area (3 club green) with you own ball for nix....all grass

I was a member there for over ten years but live in melbourne now. Ask them to give you a break on the joining fee. Its new FY and they might be on the lookout for new members.
