Sandringham is quite tatty. No woods off the grass tees. Distance markers useless. Very windy on still days. Balls a total mixed bag of ancient and new.

Zero use when you're trying to tie down swings and distances.

I find most driving ranges are useless in dialling in distances. The balls are generally less than optimal the distance markers are questionable or brought in to compensate for the balls.

To be honest the virtual golf is probably taking a fair bit of business away from them there never seems to be as many on the range.

- Riverside in Ascot Vale is putrid, the matts are worn out the balls are rubbish

- Kingston links range whilst having great balls is annoying as you cant take your bag in

- Growling frog is cool but with a tailwind the chances of landing one of Donnybrook rd and killing 34 people is high ans scary

- bundoora range is good

- Albert park range is great for its location

- Yarra bend is also great too

I like Sandringham and Albert Park because you don't have to look into the sun. Can't go to MGA or Yarra Bend without sunnies.

Maybe just go during hours when it isn't an issue. Not sure about Albert Park but MGA faces east. You're only going to be looking into the sun in the morning. From about 11am onwards I cant see how it would be an issue

Kramer's driving range with the whale blowhole targets is the best range I have seen.

If you look at google maps which automatically positions north at the top of the page you are almost hitting directly north.
