I'm still thinking it's more the tradesman and less the tools.
 
I've seen some pretty impressive play from low handicappers that used cast clubs...some even on the GI side of the scale.
 
You could hand me the sweetest, best fit forged things in the world and I'd still find a way to butcher them.
 
Ferrous Miguel uses blades.
