Thanks for your post and the Reference.
Interestingly the course redesign ( done about 24 years ago on a course several decades old) master plan drawing can’t be found.
The basic design of the Course is pretty good though.
I think the idea of knowing what you want in terms of playability (difficult/easy) to suit current and future use is very important. Other posters allude to that.
High in my list is Course Maintence costs. There is no point in having interesting features of the course which you can’t afford to maintain. Bunkering is a prime example.
