Since joining my new club. These last 8 months or so
Have been playing with lots of different people obviously
And it amazes some people in a practice round I don't pull out the putter unless I hit a GIR
I use whatever club I having in getting up and down starting with
My old 7i
Aw
PW
Sw
LW

One arvo off the whites I was 1 over after 4 holes and hit 5 in regulation and pulled putter out of the bag and one of the group said 'Didn't think you owned a putter'
And I explained its good practise

Think about hitting the middle of the ball with the edge of a wedge and the confidence you get when you have a putter about 6 to 8 times

As molly says 'Do yourself favour'

It improves balance and your putting stroke been doing it for a long time
When I practice chipping to the green near the car park.
Say 20 to 30 at a time
Will walk to green with whatever wedge
Group half at various spots around the hole and the half at 3 feet and try to hole the putts
