Not the kind you find down the end of the street where nobody wants to visit! The golf club variety, I recently had the head of my 6 iron fly off down the driving range and now I've noticed a few of the ferrules are loose on some of the other cubs. They should be tight/glued yeah?

Is it the ferrules are loose qnd have slid up?
Or the head is loose and slid down?

Im assuming if you had a head fly of, its the last one.

Hold the grip in one hand and twist the head fairly firmly in the other hand.

If it moves, run and get them fixed, pronto

Loose

Sliding up or down

Holding tight and twisting

Well, that all covers the SEO for google to index and align with any bondage or BDSM search.

Not good at all if your ferrules defy the law of adhesion.

They should either be able to simply re-epoxy the ferrules into position (if the shaft / head connection is sound), or else they will remove the heads if the irons require a complete re-glue, (as well as fitting new ferrules).

(If they need to remove the shafts, then heat guns do not go well with ferrules, hence new ones will be required)

I played a round with a pro and the ferrule was loose on one of my clubs, he took a look and said don't worry about it as the ferrule is just for looks. Head flew off a couple of weeks later. Master club fitter my arse.
