Why is this gear so expensive? Every time I see it for sale on any website it costs an arm and leg. $1000 for one of their drivers. The irons look awful ugly.

Top of the line gear from Srixon, it's so boutique and Asian orientated that they can put whatever price tag on it that they like !

Yeah I get that, there is a Japanese importer in Sydney that sells a lot of it and damn it is expensive, but, it looks very for want of a better word "chunky". Everything is chunky and ugly. I guess its more about I can afford this and you can't sort of thing for the Japanese. That particular importer does sell some amazing Miura and Epon iron sets though.

Phew.

 

I thought I was odd for thinking that.

 

Every time I walk past a set in the local Drummond's store I shudder to think someone would pay that much for clubs that look like they do.
