To satisfy everyone who want to play in all conditions a heat policy for the Victorian based clubs could be standardised if Golf Victoria could get all clubs to agree on a policy but each association would have reasons why it would not work in their area.

I'm more than happy to be proven wrong, but I can't recall any day in Brisbane that has reached 40*. Not in the last plenty of years anyway
We dot need these kindergarten policies because it doesn't get that hot here, and we're adults who can make decisions and take responsibility for ourselves.

It's not the heat it's the humility.

Been plenty of days over 40 out here in the last
Few years. Played 2 rounds of pennant last season where the temp was over 40. One was at laidley the other was out a bit past fernvale.

Arh, yep of course it's hotter at the Switch.
So you played those games you say, and you didn't keel over because of the heat?
Definitely breed them tougher out your way

Comp has to go off before midday...so no.
And all bar one person who started managed to finish, and I'm not certain the one who didn't had anything to do with the temperature.

Did he make it to hospital in time ?

I suppose I should clarify.  It did not reach 46  (47.3@Penrith which is 15 minutes away) until just after 2pm.  The majority of the field would have been done and dusted by then, but it was 38 deg at 10am and 43 at midday.  Yep.. bloody hot and dry, not that humid at all.
