All this complaining about our service, don't you all realize that over the years, fellow staff members have been let go for one reason or another, economic downturn, yada yada, so unfortunately our delivery systems have suffered a tiny bit. You all expect a bit too much at times..... How many of you have 'promised' to do something and let people down????? My point exactly, so don't point the finger at all us Aus post staff, point it at upper management, that want to keep the figures looking good for all you retired old farts with shares in our company, that AGAIN, expects a decent return on your investment.......microphone dropped.

OK Einstein, pray tell why my parcel sat in Sydney (presumably a mail sorting facility) for 17 days?....I doubt very much someone in upper management went in there and said "hey, let's hang on to that item for a week or 2 and see what happens"

My rant was this thing was sent PRIORITY mail from the US and arrived Sydney in 7 days. Then OUR wonderful postal service kept it for another 17 days. Total crapola.

I understand your frustration kind Sir, however, I cannot provide an answer right now, I'll investigate and respond to you in an prompt timeframe and courteous manner.

Thanks for that.

Seems one mob are saying there's a (monumental) problem, but Aust Post are saying there's a slight problem.

Personally, I wasn't too inconvenienced, but I can only imagine the frustration of someone waiting for something that was important...and no one can tell you where it is.

Another one for the list. Australia Post picked up my parcel last Wednesday morning. A full week later it has travelled 35km. I wonder how long the remaining 1500km will take.

So Max, if I don't respond to your comments, it's just because I'm ignoring you because I think you're an arsehole

If you ever have the need to send or post anything to Italy, be prepared to appreciate Aust Post. The Italian postal system is a lottery where no-one wins.

I was sitting at home this morning, quietly minding my own business, when I received an email from Kogan telling me my parcel had arrived.

They were quite correct.  The postie had been and left it in the letterbox, along with a roll of junk mail.
