Await the future release from TM brand of a new wooden persimmon headed driver with roll face technology and screws in the face plate to give centre hits.

There are also screws in the sole plate which can be removed to allow weight to be added to adjust the swing weight.

Ball flight trajectory can be changed by adding a strip of lead tape onto the club head.

Had a guy come in today looking for a new driver, and brought in his old R7 Quad ......... he couldn't find a driver he hit any better than that, and he tried all the newest ones, including the Ping G400, Micky!!

You should have let him hit it in reg and stiff shaft options.

Interesting technology concept from TM, will be proved or disproved by the punters soon enough ?

Also proven is the amount of weight needed to alter the playing characteristics of a golf club and it is more like 30 grams. When 30 grams + is placed in a different area of the clubhead eg: heel/toe or front versus back ( driver head ) it will give a different ball flight, higher/lower or will hold the clubface more open or closed. Just adding a strip of lead tape will not noticeably alter the way the clubhead reacts. It might make the golfer think it's different via a placebo effect and then work for the average golfer !
