Hi Guys,

just bought a Parmaker Spirit ride-on "scooter" plus tow-bar carrier, off Gumtree. Can't for the life of me work out how to drop the front handlebar/column. It's supposed to fold down some how. Any clues, please.

Parmaker website has a video of the folding of the spirit and looks like a small handle on the column is the key

There's a winged bolt that seems to slide up and down. I thought that would release the column once loosened but it doesn't. Just watched the video, didn't help.

Loosen the wingnut and slide it up in its slot.

OB, have done, but doesn't seem to do anything. Initially I did loosen the wingnut all the way, which may have released some nut or similar on the back of the bolt. It does slide within the slot but doesn't seem to release anything.

Sorted. There's a pin inside a plastic bush. If you remove the locking wingnut threaded bolt completely the pin drops down and then the pin cannot be withdrawn by sliding the plastic bush.
