I think it could be a very cool item for events like those we all play

But needs some more work for sure

Always nice to help out the sponsors in stress testing their products and initiatives.  The sponsors have been very good to us all weekend, so if we can help out in testing something before they want to roll it out more broadly, then I for one am very happy to.  One of the difficulties over the weekend is that there was very limited connectivity on the course, so even if everything had been firing on all cylinders, I doubt we would have managed the live leaderboard concept.

Did no-one consider the poor connectivity factor beforehand? Not an issue at every course but quite common.

Sounds like Obe is volunteering for the Nationals Committee with all of his valuable and helpful insights.

Despite what they say Obe, you're a good man for giving up your time to help out. I am sure Mads will certainly appreciate your assistance.

Alas, my limited budget does not provide for interstate golf trips.

I didn't say anything about travelling, your assistance can be done from your own home.
But what about the money you've saved from not playing at Gardener's, surely that will help you to come up.

It worked OK for Monash aside from the indexes being out. The interface itself was easy enough to use and the live scoreboard actually looked good. Entering scores was quick and easy, even whilst trying to corral Detour and Scooter.

The only issues I had was being logged out a few times and having to log back in but aside from that not that hard to use.

I guess I wonder what its place will be in the market as there is already similar products available (I think golf gamebook was one that I've used before) that are possibly more established than this one.

It worked well for me until it came to looking at the leaderboard and somehow the Gangurra round ended up at Bonnie Doon and only the 4 of us - at that stage mine and Deege's scores showed up correctly but at the wrong course!
