Hi Guys,

I am the founder of a startup based on the Sunshine Coast developing a device and app to track and share shots in realtime. I'm looking for people that would be interested in beta testing our Android app.

The product is called Beagle - www.beagle.golf

We have a live tracking tool at the following link which is also in beta:

https://live.beagle.golf

All Australian courses are available and international courses are coming soon. The iOS version will be ready for testing in a few weeks time.

If you would like to help out please install the app from the following link:

https://play.google....arlotech.beagle

Happy to answer any questions and appreciate any feedback.

Thank you,

Brendan

I assume it is pretty much like gamegolf?

Happy to try the app. How do we get the stickers?

Whether you think you can, or think you cannot, either way you're probably right...

Yep there are similarities. Beagle is designed more around live tracking rather than statistics capture and analysis. I wanted to create something at a more reasonable price point as well.

The Beagle app can be used without a Beagle device. So I'm hoping to get testers manually tracking shots for now.

Thanks Rob, yep just give a whirl and try and do your best to break it! If you'd like to let me know which course you're playing I will double check it's in our system. Once you're in a round feel free to select "Share this round" from the menu and whoever you share the link with will be able to follow you as you take each shot.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I've been lucky enough to work with some talented electronics and industrial designers based out of Brisbane.

Hey Rob, we're taking pre-orders on the website (www.beagle.golf) at $159. That will get you a Beagle device, 18 tags and delivery. I have the delivery date as late 2017 but we're very close to production so I look to be shipping within the coming weeks if all goes according to plan.

As I lost my tags for Gamegolf this has come along at the perfect time!

Installed and will try to remember to use on the weekend!

I am out at Heidelberg in Melbourne\Lower Plenty.

Cant get into settings as the app constantly crashes so not sure if only me or if others too, sent feedback each time through google store. But other than that for a beta looks good!

I'm curious.

Why the live shot data?

The stats tracking, etc. Yep, get that, but the live publishing of shot by shot data?

What's the market for that? Tour pro?

I can't see many being too interested in what some amateur weekend hack is doing... Or, am I missing something?
