Ok yesterday playing in C grade pennants .I am playing @ No 5 for our club .Our No 6 did not turn up.So No 6 for the the other team decides play in our group also .So I have two from the other team in my group. What gave me the the **** was No 6 for the other team played out of order for most of the round and only looked for his No 5 ball if it went off the fairway.
I must of say that I did get my arse kicked by their No 5 who played great golf. .But do you think that No 6 should of be allowed to play in the group .Or should I just suck it up and get over it.
Say No More.
I dont understand Why did the number 6 bother to play at all. He won match.
His team captain should told him to put his clubs in car and caddied for number 5.
definitely seem like you were more focussed on the number 6 and what he was doing and not on your immediate opponent (5) or what you were doing.
If that was the tactic, then it worked.
so yes I would agree he was a distraction and this probably cost you the match.
when say he played out of turn what do you mean.
by the way the number 6 is not allowed to offer ANY advice to number 5 in play of match.
You should have or could have said look 6, " if going to play let us finish our hole first or let us tee off first." then you have a hit, we are not going to look for your ball if lost.
Learn from the experience .This is part of your match play learning and conditioning, only focus on your game and your opponent not others in the 4.
