Don't you mean 'decrease'?

Hmmm, can spell, but can't evaluate simple logic...  To clarify.... I meant that it would increase the future available maintenance budget because it would decrease current expenditure due to not having to maintain sand bunkers.  Is that better??

Here is a little personal story.
Several years ago I got shingles affecting an optic nerve. It got worse over time.
There was a period of adjusting to the very poor sight in my right eye. While my brain was recalibrating I could not tell from looking exactly where the Club head was when not actually grounded.
I went through a tough time for months playing from bunkers. I bladed shots from green side out of bounds, sometimes.
I still do, sometimes,.....flashbacks!!?
On a general note there is a strong case for many clubs to reduce bunkering and move to grassy mounds and swales in some places.
Benefits include faster play and reduced course maintenance costs.
Mentioned above the “natural” bunkers such as Victorian Sand Belt are great. Don’t know whether I would handle them as well now as used to ( before the shingles attack.)

A large hole was dug overnight by an animal. After repairing the hole I found no evidence as to what sort of animal dug this hole.

Now if I had landed in this hole do I get relief , in the belief that I could not identify the animal ?

We need Irons Mick's input on this one.

Every bunker at RSO was screwed over by Roos. They need a local rule. I didn't see any local rules. I didn't look for them either.

I went into 4 bunkers at RSO
6i out of one
PW out of two
56 out of one

Had 2 sand saves.
I don't see what the problem is???

It's the tards playing golf who don't know the rules.

a - take an unplayable
b - re hit your shot (the one into the pot)

Either of the above mick the disprin could have applied but no
He chose having 7 more swings in 2 seconds instead.

Yes, but once you've had the first whack, you can't go back. No matter how remorseful one might be.
Which I'm sure you know but others may not.
