Interested to know how many NSW courses have any double greens.
I believe Manly has one. I know Cowra did have one.
I am also interested to know whether the Committee has implemented The Decision which allows the greens to be marked so there is a Wrong Green situation if you end up on the "wrong" section of the double green,
By the way I have been told that St Andrews has 6 double greens and the combination of each add up to 18 ...for example 4 and 14 ..6 and 12. I am guessing the hole numbers ...just indicating the idea of 18 addition.

There's one at Carbrook also close to NSW :)

Btw - think there are 7 double greens at St Andrews. And 4 single greens.

Languid, I'm a Manly member, after the renovation we still have a double green, 1 and 17.

No "special" rules.

I decided to look at Moore Park website.
As far as Course details it is quite poor.
I will leave this as a maybe.

Thanks.
Roughly, what could be the longest "putt" from either green?
Does the shape tempt players to use a club other than a putter?

The first green doesn't get much traffic from the 17th (Par 5) as it's behind the playing direction, hence only gets a few "skulled" chips. its more likely a hook from the first fairway ends up on 17.

The combined green complex is an hour glass shape so there are occasions (generally a back pin on the 1st) where I have seen people chip from 17.

Longest shot/putt would probably be around 50-60m

Thanks for all the contributions.  Most useful for a local club project idea being floated.
