hey Mouldy. I'm doing some work with REVO at moment and been wearing my first pair the past few weeks. I did wear Oakley as well Maui Jims over the year. REVO has a golf line as well other outdoor sports. They stock out of Perth. Have a look and let me know what you think

Nice styling and plenty of frame shapes. The key thing is that all their lenses or polarised. My current driving prescription glasses are polarised but didn't work on the golf course.

My thinking, before an expert opinion tomorrow, is a pair of polarised for driving, non-polarised for golf and reading glasses for the wine labels.

One of my pairs is polarised and I wore them to golf, once!
It really messed with the green reading and didn't feel right at all, I make a point to make sure I get ones that aren't polarised when I get new ones.

And a second vote again for the Dew Yeats

It's quite a debate for golfers. Anecdotal evidence is against polarisation and expert opinion is it doesn't make any difference.

For me it felt quite uncomfortable.

I have 3 pairs of Oakleys - all Pro M Frame, with different lenses for different light conditions. For overcast conditions the lens is G30 Black Iridium, and for bright, sunny days the lens is Jade Iridium. Best sporting frames ever made in my opinion.

I use Bolle cycling glasses with photochromatic lenses. Handle all light changes during a round. I think "golf specific" labels are just an excuse by the companies to gouge.

Just a heads up that polarised sunnies in the car will make it tough to view any LCD infotainment screen the Merc might have in it.

Non polarised sunnies do not have this effect (well at least that's how it works in my Outback)

cheers, read that but ok in the Merc which is a black and white screen. Will not be changing the car for another 4 years as I haven't quite got to 40k in the last 4 years. After that I'll need a different prescription.
