If he does that GPJ he stands to lose $90-$100m as he will be penalised as per the contract

With that sort of money at stake you'd think he would be able to keep his elbows to himself for half an hour.

Fans did not even get a KO. Ref stopped it as Connor was unable to fight back.

reading back through the live updates, it did seem to go as genuinely expected.

MacGregor went harder early knowing he had to catch him and drop him to win, Mayweather was strong defensively and in the end his decades of boxing experience got him home in the boxing match

For lack of anything else to do I will tip Mayweather with a rematch likely in 2018. I think it will be TKO 7th rd.

What was I thinking 7 rds?

Boxing is a fairly rigid form of combat sports. UFC needs discipline across a few different platforms and Moneyweather would get smoked in the octagon. This was Money's turf, and wouldnt expect any less from him.

Did notice that Floyd still packed some sizzle in his punches in the later rounds, and certainly had more oomph that Conner's weak slaps. Much better ground forces in Money's punches. Not sure he could sustain that level in an MMA bout where you the work rate works very differently.
