I need one as described in topic title.

I realise there are watches and scopes and small devices. Particular requirement is large screen with good visibility in sunny conditions.

Need preloaded courses for Australia and no further charges.

 Ideas?

Garmin G6 is easy to read in all conditions. It's become the default GPS around my club. Now superseded it's also cheap as.

Golfbuddy PT4, the screen is 8.5cm x 5cm.

Course updates are free and covers worldwide.

I switched from the Golfbuddy World Platinum as the numbers were much bigger.

Thanks folks narrowed down my options very well.
I will consider fine details on each.
Cheers
