Let's get your thoughts on The Open.

What a great field assembling. My early favourites are all Yanks unfortunately with Zac J , Kuch., Phil and CH 111 as standouts.

What chance the Aussies !!!

Ryan Fox is a cheeky bet for top 10, he's been solid the last 2 weeks on the links courses.

I'd love to see Brooks Koepka go back-to-back majors. Love the way he plays.

Andrew Dodt has had a solid season so far in Europe. Justin Thomas might be a chance if he can hole a few putts.

I reckon Sergio now the duck's been broken, although I'd be more confident if he'd been playing as much as he's been swanning around in the green jacket.

Scott if he can hole a putt and keep the collar loose. Oosthuizen is usually thereabouts.

Finding it very hard to do any work this afternoon, watching the golf is a much better idea.

Royal Birkdale has turned on the brilliant weather for day 1. Pouring rain and freezing cold.

I can't believe this Foxtel coverage. We saw Brooks Koepka tee off on the first and nothing since. Showing Spieth, Poulter, Stenson and Rose, but no Brooks and they're through 6.
