One can twiddle one's thumbs just as readily without spending a cent, losing it, or getting lead poisoning.

My 2 youngest have gone through 2 or 3 now. Drop them a couple of times and the bearing  get out of alignment and they stop spinning. $3 a spinner. Meh.

That was so last month

I went to school with a girl called Kandy who ended up doing stripping, she was really good looking

but she fell in the wrong crowd and started to doing drugs and turning tricks for more cash. It got really sad.

I heard that she even fell pregnant from one client, I thought she can't bring a child up in this world how she is, so I did what any normal person would do, it wasn't easy, but it was like taking a baby from Kandy

I got a couple of spinners well before they were "cool" and "trending" along with a few other fidget things because I was sick of getting bluetack stuck everywhere in my home office. Used to flick pocket knives too but then usually ended up shredding paper, labels, bottles and whatever else I had laying around. The wife told me to stop because I never cleaned up the mess afterwards. I would chip golf balls around the home office too, until I thinned one and got told off for installing my own little airflow hole in the wall...

Now they are a global epidemic, I am feeling the shame. Gave them to the kids to argue over. Might get myself a dart board or something..... Any other ideas?

As annoying as I find them, my young blokes got one in the shape of Captain America's shield.

It's pretty cool........... but still annoying.

If he gets one in the shape of Black Widow it'd be cooler.

They are all projected to be the shape of  Kim Kardashian, Nikki Minaj and Beyonce's arses when they stand with their left hips together.

As a parent of a child with autism they are awesome. They are a good distraction and calm down a couple of his different tics.
