interesting watching the us open coverage with the pro tracer so i ask

how in gods name do these guys carry the ball 300m when most club golfers are lucky to get it 250m with roll even blokes off 2 or 3 cant get it out that far

how do you get it to go 300m on the fly

For me, just a big high fade to make it only land around that mark would be the go.

A commentator said this morning about Justin Thomas.
"He's thinner than jailhouse soup. "

But goddamn he gives it a rip

Thomas and Koepka are scary ball strikers.

The noise the ball makes when Koepka hits it is just different to everyone else.

Tiger was the same.

Simple. They swing it faster and they strike it better.

The longer guys on tour are around the mid to high 120 mph swing speeds.

Plenty of other factors like altitude and wind can come in to play as well.

Point of order. Madambo gives it a bloody good rip as well.

That LD at Pacific was measured at 300m.

(but don't tell him I said   )

your point of order stands.

Turfers knows about 3 or 4 other blokes at the club who hit further than me
